1. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental of vehicles from GoMotion (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at Pushkin 46, Yerevan, Armenia. By making a reservation or renting a vehicle from GoMotion, you (“the Renter,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GoMotion. Please read them carefully before completing your booking. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from GoMotion, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age (25 years for premium and luxury vehicle categories)
• Hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years
• Possess a valid passport or national ID card for identification purposes
• Hold an International Driving Permit (IDP) if your license is not issued in Armenia or is not in the Latin alphabet
• Provide a valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name for the security deposit
• Not be listed on any driving disqualification or prohibition register

GoMotion reserves the right to refuse rental to any individual who does not meet these requirements or who, in our reasonable judgment, poses a safety risk.

3. Booking and Reservations

Reservations can be made through our website (gomotion.am), by email, by phone, or in person at our office. A reservation is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from GoMotion.

3.1 Reservation Confirmation

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing your reservation details, including the vehicle category, rental dates, pick-up/drop-off locations, and total estimated cost. While we make every effort to provide the specific vehicle model reserved, we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of the same or higher category if the reserved model is unavailable.

3.2 Payment Terms

• A non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total rental cost is required at the time of reservation
• The remaining balance is due upon vehicle pick-up
• A refundable security deposit (amount varies by vehicle category) will be held on your credit card at pick-up
• Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer, and cash (AMD only)
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified; payments in AMD are converted at the daily exchange rate

4. Cancellation and Modifications

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Modifications to existing reservations (dates, vehicle category, extras) are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments. Please contact us as early as possible to request changes.

GoMotion reserves the right to cancel a reservation at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle damage, force majeure). In such cases, we will offer an alternative vehicle or a full refund.

5. Rental Terms and Vehicle Use

5.1 Vehicle Pick-Up

At the time of pick-up, the Renter must present all required documents (driver’s license, ID/passport, credit card). Both parties will jointly inspect the vehicle and complete a condition report documenting any existing damage. The Renter is responsible for reviewing and signing the rental agreement before departing.

5.2 Permitted Use

The rented vehicle may only be driven by the authorized driver(s) named in the rental agreement. The vehicle must be used in accordance with the following conditions:

• The vehicle may be driven within the Republic of Armenia and, with prior written approval, in Georgia
• Cross-border travel to any other country requires explicit written permission and may incur additional fees
• The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-road driving (unless renting a designated off-road vehicle), towing, or any illegal purpose
• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited; a cleaning fee of $200 will be charged for violations
• The vehicle must not be sub-rented, used as a taxi, or used for hire or reward
• The Renter must comply with all Armenian traffic laws and regulations at all times

5.3 Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at pick-up, a refueling charge will apply at the rate of $3.00 per liter plus a $25 service fee.

5.4 Mileage

Unless otherwise stated in your rental agreement, all rentals include unlimited mileage within Armenia. Cross-border travel may be subject to mileage restrictions as specified in your agreement.

6. Insurance and Protection

All GoMotion vehicles include basic insurance coverage as required by Armenian law. Additional protection options are available:

Insurance coverage is void if the Renter violates any of these Terms, drives under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or uses the vehicle in a manner not permitted under this agreement.

7. Liability and Damages

7.1 Renter’s Liability

The Renter is responsible for:

• All damage to the rental vehicle during the rental period, up to the applicable excess/deductible amount
• All traffic fines, parking tickets, toll charges, and penalties incurred during the rental period, plus a $30 administrative fee per violation
• Loss or damage to vehicle keys, documents, or accessories (replacement cost applies)
• Towing and recovery costs if the vehicle breaks down due to renter negligence (e.g., wrong fuel type, driving in restricted areas)
• Any costs arising from the vehicle being impounded due to the Renter’s actions

7.2 Company’s Liability

GoMotion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the rental, including but not limited to loss of income, travel delays, missed flights, or accommodation costs. Our liability is limited to the total rental cost paid by the Renter. GoMotion provides 24/7 roadside assistance for mechanical breakdowns that are not caused by renter negligence.

8. Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location on the date and time specified in the rental agreement.

• Late return: A grace period of 60 minutes applies. After that, an additional day’s rental will be charged. Returns more than 24 hours late without notice may be reported as vehicle theft.
• Early return: No refund is provided for unused rental days unless agreed in writing.
• Different location: One-way rentals and drop-offs at different locations are available for an additional fee, subject to prior arrangement.
• After-hours return: Available at select locations. The Renter remains responsible for the vehicle until it is inspected by GoMotion staff during working hours.

9. Accidents and Breakdowns

In the event of an accident, theft, or breakdown, the Renter must:

• Contact GoMotion immediately at our 24/7 emergency number provided in the rental agreement
• Contact the police (dial 102) if there is an accident involving injury, significant property damage, or a dispute with another party
• Not admit fault or liability to any third party at the scene
• Obtain names, contact details, and insurance information from any other parties involved
• Take photographs of the scene, all vehicles involved, and any visible damage
• Complete and submit an accident report form to GoMotion within 24 hours
• Not authorize any repairs without prior written approval from GoMotion

10. Additional Services and Extras

The following optional extras are available upon request and subject to availability:

• GPS navigation system — $5/day
• Child seat (infant/toddler/booster) — $5/day
• Additional authorized driver — $7/day
• Airport pick-up/drop-off (Zvartnots International Airport) — free within Yerevan
• Cross-border permit (Georgia) — $50 one-time fee
• Snow chains (November–March) — $10/rental
• Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot — $8/day

11. Force Majeure

GoMotion shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, epidemics, pandemics, severe weather conditions, road closures, or any other force majeure event. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or a full refund.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Armenia, located in Yerevan.

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation under the rules of the Armenian Arbitration Association.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

GoMotion reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The terms applicable to your rental are those in effect at the time of your booking confirmation.
